Your data stays on your iPhone.

Summary: Gear 5 does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

What the app stores

The body measurements you enter (for example, biceps or waist size) and your unit preference (inches or centimetres) are saved in a local database on your device. This information is never sent to us or to any third party.

What we collect

Nothing. Gear 5 has no user accounts, does not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, does not display ads, and does not track you across apps or websites.

Third parties

Gear 5 does not integrate any third-party services that receive your data. If future versions add optional features such as cloud backup or Apple Health sync, this policy will be updated before those features ship, and they will be opt-in.

Deleting your data

Because everything is stored locally, deleting the app from your iPhone permanently deletes all of your data. If you back up your iPhone with iCloud or a computer, app data may be included in that backup under Apple's own policies.

Children

Gear 5 is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
